I should have known you had thought about that, as well.

After first drive I was shaking and my heart was beating
whit full speed next hour! It was just so super scary!

But after first kilometers, getting up, driving and getting
down is so much fun! Maybe I go driving for whole tomorrow!

Very Happy

You look really comfortable on it.

If you need a video file converter, check this out (it's free) and can covert any media type to any other:

Now, new - better and more funny video in YoTube!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OptGmDkEwJs

I was driving today about 15km trip. Getting up and down is very easy now.
Down I learn to come smoothly by using rear step. Driving is fun! Very Happy

Not exactly, brake spoon is still waiting to get nickeled.. but anyways.

I didn't make any big brakings yet, I tried to be really carefull whit it.

Mostly you can brake like whit Fixed gear cycles.

Olli, what an amazing build. Unbelievable attention to detail. Thanks for sharing! I too built my bike, though nothing as elaborate. Yes, the first ride was so scary! I practiced scooting for like an hour first. You can see the video and build pictures here.. http://www.instructables.com/id/Antique-Bicycle/

A greaty build, and if you wonder where to use it, I found this crazy man cycling 2500 km from north to south in Norway on such a thing, which included a crash with a car in a tunnell..

"tip Steve" is a wrong google translation for "velte-petter", a nickname of the penny farthing. And he didn't collect millions of money as translated in the bottom, just 80€..
