Wowowooo!

Nickeled parts arrived!

The nickel plating does not come ready straight, like chroming. It still
needs polishing after plating. I did polishing whit "Autosol chrome polish",
it took me 3 hours.

So today I made long day to put it back together. It already looks quite
ready, but there is still small work for many days.

Soon its finnished!

Made in last days:

-Tires are glued and installed
-Handles and pedal woods are made
-Stand is made

Stand looks like this. Weight of bike closes it in the stand.

Bike was outside today first time, so I took some photos.

Well done, Mr.O! Looks right, including finish of the plated parts. Period perfect, I'd say.

I guess it will take a lot of leg muscles to pedal because of the high ratio of small pedal cranks to big drive wheel. If you ride it, make a video! (And dress up in period clothes, of course.

Hey, the ratio is not so long. Wheel is about 4 meters long. So by one round
bike moves 4 meters. I checked same thing from my small wheel (22") city
bike and it moved 4,5 meter when pedals made one round. Of course wheel
and bike are more heavy.
