Hey Bart, that looks good but it won't be the same without Mel G.
The massive earth moving truck looks cool. If only we could drive one of them on the road, soon take care of the chavs . _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

I'm not too sure on this film myself, The first mad max was brilliant, i dont think its possible to make that kind of film again, times have changed and people arent gonna be shocked the way they were when that came out.
It may be a very good film this, But I dont think it deserves the Mad max name. _________________

Computers are the future but you cannot beat a real crash with real vehicles and real stuntmen (in my opinion) . _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

I agree, watch the part in the first film where Max drives head-on into the bikes over that bridge, one of the stuntmen takes a right pounding, and is hit by a bike over the head. Much better than sitting in front of a greenscreen pretending!
The best thing the early films got across was the attitude of the nomadic psycos. You actually believe they are fuckin mental when you see it, its so well done. I dont think you can acheive that in the modern world without taking a film above and beyond whats going to be acceptable.
I think I'm still gonna go see it though! _________________

They were all Aussies so they probably WERE mental. Anyhoo, for all the cool cars and the atmosphere, hell yea I'm gonna see it!
But there's nothing like the old ones. The first scenes with the Nightrider of part one always give me goosebumps.
There's a model available from Autoart in 1:18 of the V8 interceptor from the second film.
It will arrive at my house one of these days. It has the dog and the tins of dog food with it.... Mental.

If they would make a part 4, would they stick to the hairstyles from the 80th (that's so last century!!)

I agree part 1 was home made, part two was perfect, part 3 was already "hollywood", I can only hope the trend isn't continued with part 4, but I fear it will.
However, being a big fan of the machinery in these films, I will see it anyway. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.
