Painting on the back (not finished yet). Flames will be added so it looks like it's on fire...

@Jozef: I can't wait either, I have been taping the design for two days now. I am used to motorcycle painting, helmets, the occasional small stuff on cars but this is the first complete car I am painting. It's a lot of work.

@Shedspeed: thanks!

Tomorrow I hope to finish taping the lames, then cleaning, basecoat black, gold microglow flakes, gold Glowble flakes (the big muthas) and then clearcoat, sanding, clearcoat, sanding etc.... O yeah, and a white striping of course.

Then reassembly, the flamethrower in the exhaust and that f***ing oil leak I can't seem to trace and then: on the road!

If you are coming to Sweden, better bring sunglasses.

It doesn't show very well in the pictures but there are gold flakes in the paint.
A white outline will be striped tomorrow and some more clear to bury the flakes.

WOW!!!

That looks fantastic! metalflake rules, havnt seen a car done with it for ages, I think now theres more scope for interesting evolutions of styles that can be acheived with metalflake paint, This car proves that!
