Hi,
well I'm 25 and got my first 2cv when I was 16, I had the choice between a moped and a car, since I didn't fancy a moped I ended up with a 2cv because my parents used to drive them and still do on and off. They are maried in one
I have two 2cvs at the moment. Still have my first one and drive that regurely. Besides I had a RHD Charleston which I sold to pay for my next project... and I also have an AZ which I'm rebuilding now with a early ami6 engine and box.
Cheers, Bart
p.s. I'm still still a student and my part time job is Jaguar mechanic.

Im only 18, we have had no citroens in my familys car history, 1 day at work there was this Dyane, I asked the owner about it, 6months later I was the owner. 4 Months after that I passed my driving test but that was the first car I ever drove even though it was back and forth in my drive.
I drove a fiesta for 1 week before Dyane was running legally, there wasnt any fun involved in it so I dought Ild own a normal car now. _________________ Owner of the low, mean and slow dyane... |

Hi, I am 35 and had my 1st 2cv in 1989 which I am restoring now. In that year I visited my 1st worldmeeting as well, in Orléans.
I drive to meetings sinds 1983 I think. I did it with my bicycle with trailer behind it because I did not have a drivers license at that time :-) |

Perhaps this post should have been titled "How old where you punks when you first got your 2cv" I think that would be more fitting.
Hey thanks for the support for my video's

Yes we have a few, comparitivly, 2cv's in Australia. I've heard estimates as high as 700! but think more like 4-500. My old man has a place we call The Bunker, with an eight car garage space, mainly full with Citroens.
When i was 16 the old man was suppossed to pick me up in the old Range Rover to do my driving test, instead he rocked up in the 2cv I had a quick lesson and passed, mainly because i don't think the instructor knew what i was doing
Cheers
