Well as you could guess, Im new here and Im learning to use a forum. Im Jack, 18 years old living in the UK, work as a Citroen mechanic and have a Dyane6.
(Shedspeed is kindly adding the pictures for me after as I havnt had 5posts yet)
But its a 1979 Dyane 6 Weekend, was in a very good conition before hitting a fence 2 nights ago and distroyed the front end.
It wasnt as modified as some on here, she was lowered with a slight rake, oil breather fitted, blue LED bulbs that I had been pulled by the Police, it was more heavily serviced and kept running as I thrashed it a bit but still I have plans for it.
Look forward to comments

That's a cool Dyane! I already saw it on flickr some time ago. Shame about the damage, I hope you'll get it fixed soon. |

Whoops...
but if the chassis isn't hit that's an easy fix...
Good opportunity to change the colour of the car.
I'd lower the back to avoid the Rake. _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

I now see the potential to remove the rake but like i found out, i dont have the weight on the wheels so it understeered in the wet and i hit that post, shame really and also where i live its impractical for a low car as the roads are quite bumpy, good old marshland roads _________________ Owner of the low, mean and slow dyane... |

it does seem an easy fix
I like the color, perhaps sanding the whole car with 2000 paper to make it more matt could make it even cooler
and replacing square plastic lamps with some older ones |

Those stupid fences! They never look before they cross the road and most of them have no insurance! Bad luck! Hope you can get it back on the road soon. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Yeah, I have survived, bit shaken that that was my first serious crash on a road that i have driving on neally every doy for the past 8months.
Earlier in the week I was racing a Saxo and a Renault 5 (surprisingly I can easliy race and win against cars like them as they dont handle on lanes) but on the same lane i go to work and back we where racing and the Saxo ended up in a ditch at quite some speed.
From then on I have been going slowly down there and on the off chance that was the only wet corner, wheels locked at 30mph and went straight into that post, JOY. _________________ Owner of the low, mean and slow dyane... |
