Hi Pedi!
Welcome on the SNAIL forum!

I watched pics of your cars, and I have to say... I don't really like them. Mostly the yellow one... why fit so ugly wheels and fenders on a 2cv?

Anyway, I guess you read that:

Olli, Joseph and I created this forum to talk about custom 2CVs but not all of these.

Our goal is to make an alternative custom 2cv scene inspired mostly by hot rods and custom cars, like in the Beetle scene. Don't come here to talk about your "kit bipe" and your "deltamic wheels" or your supermarket "custom". Don't make stuff just because you're able to do it! Think, look for a great inspiration, respect the shape of your mythical 2CV!

I don't mean Deltamic wheels are totally prohibited here. Just don't use them on your car just because you didn't find anything else. Please try to make something consistant!!

I just want remember, this custom 2cv forum tries to avoid this "mix 80's/90's style" and also nowadays tuning!

Thanks! Very Happy

4 bolt rims!!

somebody told me that a 4-bolt adapter was sold many years ago in a shop in germany...
i'm looking for such an adapter, but i wasn't lucky yet.

i think the rims are "powertech".

they fit really well.
got some pics of another car with these rims! looks good!

I think these wheel suck! Make me think to that:

But in dark red it's ok, and they fit ok with rest of the car.
It's just amazing to see 4 studs and those wheels looks like Deltamics. There would be so much better choices...

Adapter are not good... they make the car so wide. If you want use other wheels Malte, the best is to modify drums on the back and the part where you fix the wheel on the front arms (don't remember the english name).

Geoff, champy2k, could make that for example.

I'm gonna to do it also for my 2cv... later!

Yeah, lets remember that this forum is created to raise up traditional style
2cv customizing and I'm not talking about 70's 80's "2cv customs" as a
traditional customs.

About Pedi's car, its nice in its own style but its not style what we are
going on here.

There is world open whit wheels if you make adapters so why to put
these Deltamics style wheels any way. These style wheels we
call "mangels" here in finland and they are guite a joke in car scene.

Example: people are wondering why we have "cool beetles" topic here
in 2cv forum? Its just because to find ideas and be more creative whit
modifying our 2cv's. I can't find (and I dont want) any forum from net
where people are building their 80's style VW's! Maybe 80's is on in
fashion but please lets keep it out from Snail.
