Everything is in title.
I was wondering to know how many 2 CVs were made in Slough between 1953 and 1959, and how many survived up to day ?

Does anybody know ?

Cheers !

I don't know anything about numbers. A few months ago there was a '53 for sale on the ebay in Australia. Non-original engine, GS-hubcaps and some other details ... sold for over 11.000 dollars. Lots of money for a car that has been restored the wrong way. On top of all, this car was listed as 'french' ... terrible!

Here it is:

I'll make some good scans of my brochures and a Road Test from '56.

Et voila, I know it has nothing to do with your question, but I'll post them anyway. Wink

Right, it's got nothing to do with the question itself but these advertisements are really very very interesting. I thank you very much !

You're welcome, Pascal.

Here's the '56 AZ Road Test. This all I have at the moment, but I'll check my other documents to see if I have some more Slough stuff. Two years ago I was talking to a Belgian guy who was restoring a Slough built, but I never saw him again. Let's hope he'll have it finished soon!

I think that this one was for sale a couple of years ago in South-Africa. But even if not good looking, it may get back to the original color and condition ...

It's the Front Wheel Drive logo, only mounted on the Slough built 2cv's.

So, nobody knows how many 2 CV were made in Slough ? I've heard about 400 but also about 1000. And some people say they are only about 30 to 50 remaining !
No one to confirm ?
