I like the car but in my opinion there is still too much going on at the rear section of the car...majbe because of the colours of the lights behind...maybe to put a white lenses and to paint the plastic support for the lights...and fit that alu mold after i make it (it will hide rubber under the turnsignals)
and again came the old issue - what to do with the rims?!?
here are some details about the rear door - i've used a system from a booth of an Fiat 126 - both the lock and the handle that is used to open the lock via "metal string" i don't know the name in english.
the handle is fixed by the left side of the driver's seat
and the lock can be seen here
the canvas is held by the screws on both sides of the roof (the ones where you fasten that straps when you open it all the way) and on the door by the rubber around the window and it is glued to the metal but not all the way so i can avoid the cavas and rubber inside the roof to crack and brake after a longer use... it is not nicest when it is opened but it works just fine

hey friend!
great pics, unfortunatly I had to raise the car a few cm because the road back was BAD (we were going through some villages and crappy rouds around them, but have seen some beautifull country side...and some tutus also)
Ana doesn't know what will happen to hewr ami...the master plan is to drop it a couple of mm each day so she couldn't tell the differece at the end hehehe
yesterday i've finally welded the front shock mount - it was a job of a 6 hours but it's good thet it is sorted now...will drop it again today probably |

pics of a "small problem" that happened to me before the trip to the WM
it was properly sorted after WM
that's what I love 'bout this car, you can always fix it ...later hahaha
before the trip
a friend just welded a few points that he could reach with the welder before the trip (we've placed a piece of inox tubing inside the broken part tu make it stronger)
and after the trip (2500km) I've finally made a proper job with that! body lifted and broken part cleaned all around and than welded all the way

My winter project accessorie-for-the-roofrack is done a complete transformation from a bicycle to a motored bicycle in the long version you can see here
http://motorbicycling.com/f38/croatian-boardtracker-15087.html
and a short version is here
the starting situation (a Felt's Red Baron)
and the result
now it's about time to make a roofrack |

it's leagal IF it doesn't go faster than 30km/h
and the engine is a bicycle engine kit from ebay but I've made my own tank and painted it and polished some covers on it |

Roofrack for 2cv is mainly for show. Only if you have more than 3 people in the car you need one. Otherwise is just packing. But i like them Mainly i prefer like on the banner. _________________ Pete |

I made roofrack for my Azu in 2005 (?) I used it for real couple of times.
Then I wanted more clean look for my car so I take it away.
There is also a point when you are making new things just to have
something more. It could be good point to start new project
