Hi!

Maybe now is time to introduce myself. I am 42 years old guy from Finland. I am quite new with 2cv area (I bought my 2cv 6.12.07) even I have 25 years experience about playing with cars. Some customizing I have done almost every of 30 owned car but biggest changes I have made to one VW1300 and Volvo 142. VW was cabrio and Volvo just an other way customized around after my handling... I think old school way and the tuning is just plastic toying Laughing

Anyway now I am concentrating to customize my 2cv. Let's see how much it will change during my ownership. I have started by changing front lights to the round ones and my last innovation was to cover rear hatch with roof fabric. It looks like this.

I also added a funny feature which effects a cut of right front light. So, by pressing a button next from the steering wheel my 2cv (named Sohvi) blinks her right eye Wink

Next I will have 3 months winter break with Sohvi. I only have plan to cover seats with some new fabric. After this break I will lower Sohvi a little bit and maybe paint it with mat color.

I am nearby Helsinki (35 km away from center). If I have understood correctly Olli is almost from neighbor... (just now he seems be in Slovenia, but normally).

I should take some more pictures. That backside picture above and my avatar are only ones what can be published. I'll tried to take some before winter storing.

By the way I have family (wife, daughter 10 and sons 13 and 5 years) which is also very interested of this Sohvi. Especially because I exchange her from my Moto Guzzi. 2cv is more family hoppy...

Hey don't change the colour, it's cool! Maybe add some black & white accents like scallops or stripes. Chrome looks good on orange too. I like the look of your bootlid.

PS: Lose the Benz.

Yes, I think to keep the color same but change it to matt. Anyway I am aiming clean look no tingel tangel... Bumpers will be painted to the same color with body (maybe I change them to some home made pipes) and wheels to black and orange combination etc... Lot of plans but let's see what will be reality.

But Merc I will keep Laughing It is exact the age than my son (birthdays is in one month). I will give to my son when he will turn 18...
