Yeah Malte, I really do like your car! Nice overall looks and very good sharp flames. Another unique 2cv, cool! |

Flames look good, fades in the colour look good! Did you pinstripe the outline or tape&spray?
Hows about some flames on your car, P6? _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

I haven't done them myself. i'm to stupid for that.
a friend of mine did that. i think he taped & sprayed the outline.
it is the second time he airbushed flames. it's good for the second time :)
i'm pleased that you like it.

Well if you lend him your car as a canvas regularly, he will be even better. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

thanks.:)
thanks also for the suggestion with the "portawalls".
a few years ago i bought some, but in germany they are illegal.
they are just for show cars because they are slashing you tire side's if you drive much.
i think they are not made for 20 000 km / year. :) _________________ in rust we trust... |

Don't buy them unless it's for a show vehicle or you drive like your grandmama. They eat up your tires. It took 10.000 kms to eat through the side of the tires (to the canvas!) on my girlfriend's Xantia. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

whitewalls on xantia ?
avoid port a walls on a 2cv (or anything), it just makes the car look even cheaper than it is, like it has been restored in India. _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.
