Why to use Ami Super shafts? I didnt hear anyone saying good comment of them.
Nice to hear about project going forward!

2cv driveshafts will be fitted as a test to see if they really are better then the Ami Super ones.

Yeah, and what were the test results ?

AMI Super driveshafts are probably perfectly OK for a car I guess Stefan won't be using 50 000 km a year ?

I think the only problem they have is the angle at which they are placed on the AMI because other than length they use exactly the same components as GS driveshafts, and you don't hear stories of GS driveshafts being really fragile.

on my pickup i used 5 2cv drive shafts on the way to the sweden world meeting and back..... Confused now i know that is a ridiculous car with more than 100 hp and the drive shafts are under a sharp angle. but the main problem is that if you hear some noise from the 2cv drive shafts they will brake in 2 kilometers (at least that is my experience) so the ami super/gsa drive shafts are from another type "tripode" and i hope they don't have that problem.
yesterday i read some nice stuff on the internet about shortening a drive shaft so i think i'm gonna try that.

13'' wheel, 12 cm narrowd front axle Laughing (6cm each side)

and it doesn't look that narrow i think (for ulta cool looks it should be even more narrow i think) but this is just a test swing arm so everything is possible

Looking really great! Wonder how much tire can turn before it hits on arm?

Exactly.

When I had the whitewalls on my AZU I couldn't turn much... and I did a mod on the fender and shell that I learned today was original on 2cv Sahara... Laughing

I think it doesn't look too narrow because of the width of the tyres... as they are small diameter, their width makes them look square. what size are they ? I know you can get 135-80-13 (from Renault 4)

I'm worried that lengthened front + 13 inch wheels is going to look strange... Confused

6cm by side... i'd like to see how you did that and how look the arm now!

But it doesn't look so narrowed, maybe it's because the fenders are not on their exact location yet.

So the noise will be longer?

Did you see that?

This car has gs engine and LNA gearbox because it's the smallest one. The owner built some nice brake adaptor for the discs. So no longer bonnet! And longer gears, would be good with the 13" wheels.

These tires look fat, maybe you should buy some 145/70r13 or even 145/65r13.

Anyway, nice work, this will be excellent!

tyre is 155/70 13 i also have 135/? 13 Cool maybe they are better.

i don't think that the lengthened front is really bad it's only 4 cm or so (i know original length should be better)

the fenders are in place, but is doesn't look that narrow becouse of the wide offset of the wheel.

probably yes

tire looks really fat. perhaps the 135 will look a little better.

i have already seen more ugly fronts.

but you can't see the result until it's completely finished, so don't jump to conclusions.

i'm looking forward to see it finished, so, hurry up :)
