You wil use 13 inch AX wheels?
Good thinking, that will lower it even more. Hope it does not look "empty" in the front fenders then. Will help on turning and steering though, because you won't hit the fende ror swingarm.
Did you replace the stops on the chassis aswell? Mine are allready broken off by riding low, specially on the front.
Really cool project

@ deuch_n_roll - yes i'm gonna use fenders.
the 13'' wheels are just inevitable can't make the car without them becouse 15'' are just to big and gonna hit everything. so maybe the front fenders look a bit empty but that's the way it is.
yes i removed the stops on the chassis thats the only way to make it this low. _________________

I've calculated than 145/65 r15 are just +4cm diameter than 145/70r13...
I'm quite sure people won't see wheels are smaller. Car will be so low, all car will look different and mostly a lot smaller! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Hi. Nice work you done!
Quote: | not much space for the engine, maybe i have to put the gearbox above the front axle. but i've done that before so that's not a problem. |
How you do that? Have any pictures "done that before" car? _________________ www.suomen2cvkilta.fi/joensuu

You can see that often in 4cylinders 2CV!
Stefan has also a pick-up 2cv with 1300cc + turbo.... Make a topic about this one Stefan! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

well it's just as easy as i say it, you take the engine and geerbox put it let's say 15 cm to the rear, and above the front axle and make some new engine mounts. the only real problem are the driveshafts with a standard 1300 gs engine they last something about 20.000 km. with my turbo car somthing about 10.000 km . on vacation to the world meeting in Sweden i chance them 5 times.... i had some bad luck with the spare one.
i will make a topic for the pickup soon. but i don't have many pictures maybe etienne have some?
pictures from the engine mount coming soon can't find them now. _________________
