Last week a friend of mine celebrated his 30th birthday. As I was a little late in buying a present (as always), I had no choice but to look around the house for a suitable gift. I still had the rust-painted AZU (see pics above) somewhere and he wants to build an AZU, channeled and lowered on an AMI super chassis.

So I took out the dremel and started chopping away...

Channeling, dropping suspension etc. I left the front wings in the original position and took a strip of material off the underside of the bonnet. And I closed the rear wheel arches.

Looks great, just hope that you remove those fender skirts. They just suck, sorry.
Shape of 2cv van wheel arch is great and it finishes boxy design of back.
If its closed rear starts to look just like a box + even more home made.

Paint is really nicely done!

I tried to make it rust, but it didn't! So I painted it, with some colors I also used for my 2cv!

Yesterday I got this from a good friend for my birthday.
I think he's got a good eye for detail.
The real thing you see in the topic "what kind of music do you like".
