today i was going to change the front tyres of my daily car, then i saw this Shocked Shocked Shocked



i thought that subspension parts from a 2cv where indestructible Wink .
it's probably broken because of the heavy shock absorbers Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

And you're not the first one, Deuch'n'roll had this same problem... twice!

I think, too hard shock absorber and regular springs make too much work for the shock absorbers fixations. Don't you think?

I think so too, besides the welding on 2cv suspension arms is not as good as generally thought, for 4x4's the arms used to be rewelded to make them stonger.

i think it's only because of the hard shock absorber, because the spring is mounted on the same bracket. would’t it ?

If you look welding guality of arms this is not really suprise.
Weld them again and make some extra pieces to them to be good.

channeling project is going to sloo a lot of work on the chassis i had change the front a lot to get the engine a bit lower and i had to replace the top and bottom plate and now i'm working on the round spring box they were full of dents so the springs where stuck.
(didn't find the mag yet, i will try bruna) thanks

i had to change the engine becouse it had no compression anymore Confused

so here is the new one with new injection lay out Very Happy 2 throttle bodies , and new ignition system (i hate the original from the visa)







i hope it runs today

You don't use neither the "cooling" stuff.
I guess you have a "oil-temp-meter"?
