A lame start on my bike :
"Legendary" Raleigh Burner Mk1 frame, with signature hooped rear and front gusset, and a set of aluminium Lester wheels...
Work in progress, should turn out nice with the parts I'm waiting for.

Saw them last week in Milano, at zona tortona! It looks great in real life, but looks a bit odd on pictures |

...this is what I did the last days - a mixture between a recumbent bike and cruiser..13kg complete, fast and a bit unusual
and this is what I also do have...

these days I've been working on my brother's old "Rog" mountain bike that has been collecting dust for a few long years. He once mentioned that he'd like to have a flat black fixie so that was the general idea behind the project.
this saturday was his birthday so the plan was to surprise him with his old bike a bit facelifted!
I've dropped the idea of fixed gear and instead I've incorporated a coaster brake - I now that he wouldn't appreciate the idea of constant pedelaing and I've decided to use wide (2.2) tires to awoid getting him stucked in a tram rails
this what I've started with
after cleanin the frame it looked like this
the ftame was coated in "body" the plastic "paint for the underside of the car but sprayed in wery small drops to get this "sandpaper-like" finish
the wheels pedals and parts of the wheels got the shiny copper red mettalic finish (and black spokes)
the final pics
