...if you do hit a curb, the roll over is quite easy! Even if was always stated by Citroen that the roll over is not possible we have a couple oc examples - done with a curb - how the roll over is quite easy!

Maybe the best idea is to not hit curbs ? Very Happy

I've been driving 15 years and have never managed to hit anything on the side of the road as far as i can remember. especially in something as easy to drive and slow as a 2cv Laughing

Sorry, but the wider front fenders look a bit over the top too me. It would probably helps when you take the indicators out, cause now it is clearly out of proportion.

With the cage, plus the huge wheels plus the bigger fenders, this car is gaining hips of wait. Hope you have some descent plans for the engine, otherwise this car will move like... A snail...

The roll cage doenst weight as much as it looks like, the wide fender are made from polyester. I also have the arndt tuning fenders they are very heavy , the one on the car are made in france nog that heavy, the rear ones are even lighter then origional and the engine is indeed vgs so not mut of a problem some extra weight Wink.

Just came home from vacation and starting with the car again tomorrow, sanding the last pieces and hopefully it will be painted in its final colour within two weeks can't wait!!!! Twisted Evil

just some update pictures of reasembling the car.
A little bit of wet sanding to do and then the car will be finished to get it's colour.

it's getting cold over here Crying or Very sad

fitting the fenders, lots of work. screwed it to hold everything. remove them when finished.

backside ready

little bit of sand work on the back side. The exhaust isn't ready i think it's to long so going to cut it in line with the back fenders.

just some pictures

frontspoiler dryfit, it's to small. i'm going to make a new one from polyester. i haven't deside the colour yet, maybe the same colour of the car or just black to get some contrast.

This will be the grill, haven't found some nice custom yet Sad

I don't particularly like the front of the wide rear fenders. Way to square for the looks of a 2CV...
