Fitting the new wheels

The wheels are to wide for the fenders, about 5,5 cm, have to search for a solution.

Placing the wheels otherway round. Inside out Wink
Now they fit perfectly. Only the steering bar hits the wheel and the air uhhh the air thing Wink (Don't know the wordt ventiel in English sorry Wink )

Drawing of the measurements of the wheels..

Anyone an idea how to solve this problem?? cutting the wheels or widening the fenders??
Need some help on this problem.

Cutting the wheels would be a big job to do and they could turn out no good if they are not centered good enough...

You have two solutions to fixe your issue:

1/ Buy wider front wings

2/ Fit stock front weels or custom narrower front weels.

Personnaly, I would choose the second option: The torque and the amount of horse power on 2cv engine (even prepared) is not huge and can perfectly be handle with stock rims with a good set of tyres.
Moreover, you will avoid handling issues and stiff stearing sensation.

finished the bonnet, ready to get painted Wink

the front wings fit, now time to measure glue them is only minute work but fitting them in exact the right place takes hours pfffff

Stopped with the front wings, now its time for the headlight bar, sandblasted the thing, epoxy primer and also ready to get painted

The front of the car is ready, only have to screw everything together and glue the polyester wings to the metal innerwings. just placed the parts on the car for the picture Twisted Evil

Next thing to do is lower the car again. i think about 3 of 4 cm on the front and 2 or 3 at the back of the car.

TO BE CONTINUED!!!!
