Apparently ARNOLD was bought brand new for its last owner in 1966. It is a 12volt 602cc.
The lady owner drove it for about 17/18years until she got her 'new car'.
The Ami6 was then driven into a barn/garage where it has been for the last 30years.
So one previous owner who only used the car to go to the shops and home again and therefore it only has 18,000 kilometers on the Speedometer Very Happy Shocked Cool

There is nothing missing from this car and it also has an early push button mw/lw radio and single speaker fitted.

I DO NEED THE SLIDING WINDOW CHANNEL RUNNER FOR ALL FOUR DOORS if anyone knows where i can get it?????

Cant wait to get started Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Here's a link.. Originally the bottom piece is slightly wider than the ones that go in the window frame.. You can probably use this for the bottom piece as well since the difference is only couple millimeters..

Thanks Rusty, im well pleased :-)

Azurblade, Im gonna fit electronic ignition and a service on the engine gearbox and brakes. Gonna paint the roof and the wheels in a cream colour and fit white wall tyre. The body will be rubbed down using a scotchbright abrasive pad and then a few coats of matt/satin laquer to seal in the rust :-). The interior just needs a good clean and a polish with a tiny bit of fresh paint around the instrument cluster/speedo area.

Really looking forward to getting started on it.

Oh yeah forgot to add, im gonna lower the suspension a little but absolutely no channeling, not in this conditon and with so few kilometers on the clock, that would be a crime Sad

in that case paint it to really preserve the bodywork ?

you can get the channel here, too, slightly cheaper :

Thanks Jozef. I love the rust/rat look so sealing the body with laquer is perfect for me. I dont want to hide with fresh paint what nature took thirty years to create :-)

Thats a good plan Tony!
Maybe it's nicer and easyer to spray only the wheels in a different color. I like the original unpainted roof.

Looks like mine old ami 6 break

Good luck whit cleaning and painting.
