hi i am vincent and i am from holland. i am driving a 2cv for a couple of years now.
he failed for the apk (mot) and needed a lot of welding on the bottom.
i have been inspired by this forum and decided to repair all the rust and
channel it 5 cm.
I would also like the old engine hood assembly, only I do not know of that
going to fit. if anyone have good ideas let me know.
the first picture is from a while back when he was still in good condition.

the floor is not welded to the chassis, it seems so because the upper and the
bottom of the front box section I have welded together on top of the chassis.
the square tube is only a tool during assembly of the floor will be removed later.

I live near the coast on the island of texel, here everything rust quickly Very Happy

lovely lovely work, but you appear to already have a ripple bonnet?
so I don't understand what bonnet you are aiming for?

the photo with the rectangular headlights is an old picture, I've had them replaced by round lights a while ago.
the old ripple bonnet is on the front lower, I'm afraid there is not enough space for the fan housing. but I will find out Very Happy
