hi,

im planning on making a 60's style 2cv with bits of rust and some customizations. this is a quick sketch of what i am planning:

as a base i have an old charleston, that was sold for scrap. chassis was bad, floors and sills were rotten, and it was semi dismantled. so i bought a new chassis, which i'm cleaning at the moment.
the body's rear windows and front blinker holes will be shut, the rear panel will be traded for an old style one, the front doors will be suicide.
It will have a long roof and the bonnet will be a ripple one of course. fuel tank cap will be frenched
color will be a flat light blue. i'm not sure about the wheels, but i was thinking burgundy red (same as interior) with whitewalls

Nice draw that you've made.
Hopefully you'll get it as good as you've designed it!
It's looking good!

Long roof with "new" bonnet would be awesome.

If you've got the old front fenders as wel it will fit.
The curves are a bit different.
Ripple bonnet on new fenders don't fit properly

In theory : yes. But the latest long roof 2 CV A we know is from 1959. So I've never seen any, but the Citroën catalog says it was possible to get one in the early 1960s...

What kind of backside do you make?
Flat (looks like the picture ^^) or a sixties one?
i'f you make the first it will be nice the long roof. The second one is nicer whit short roof i think so.
