Great !
Realy better that mine !
I was esthonished to find it in a magazine of 1966! I thought the engine kit was only made in the 50's ... It's true in 1966 there was only 425 cm3 2cv in France (and old 375...), but Ami 6 existed (the best sale in France in 1965 I think) _________________ Tibo & Rose-Yvonne

The Ami6 pick up is really cool.
Bart, Maybe it could be better to show in that topic only cars pre-70... or something like that...
I think I will make a topic for 70's 80's customs... but the thing is these years are full of ugly ones... so I'm hesitating! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

Well these are just cars I found in my old magazines, books and citroen stuff. I cannot really put them in categories because many times, the dates and other info is missing. For me, they are all nostalgic, because I have fond memories of them.
I think it would be a good idea to post all 2cv or a-type customs so we could make a lexicon. There could be cool cars and also bad cars, as a warning for those who plan to build a car like that! _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

It's so cool! Glassfibre, I suspect?
How much does it cost? And is it in the state you see in the picture?
I want it. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

For the French speaking people among you: in the sixties or seventies when “l’Autojournal” was of newspaper format there was an item “ la 2cv aux cent visages” (or something like that).
Would be interesting to try and find these editions.

So you don't bore us by putting a picture of yourself in your introduction but tell me Bart...What is nostalgic about these "custom" 2cv's?
The last one is a completely original Citronetta built in Chili by te way. _________________ Belgian built '67 Dyane. |

Hey Yannick, stil here, I see? If you are getting bored you don't HAVE to look, you know.
I predict that these cars will be future nostalgia
For the critics and anyone who does like Citroens you don't see every day:
Here's a design study of the fifties for a 2Cv update:
And another, seemingly inspired on the Fiat Topolino:
And for our Belgian viewers: two specials from coachbuilder Akkermans:

I love these "one off" treasures! Are there more pictures of that car on the net?
Thanks |
