hello there

So I'm pablo, know some of you (Jozeph, Etienne, Deucheman, Olli, Ebus...) from Bielle Chaude.
Citroen is a car brand I like mostly because my grandfather owned a 11B, my mother a 6 special when she was single, and my parents a 70's Dyane, a 82 GSA and a XM.

Now what I'm specially interested in is 2cv coupes and cabs.
I remember some of Olli's drawings... Maybe here I'll find them back with some additional pictures of those cool rides.

glad to be part of you guys
see ya Wink

A lot of work to do to get such a cool car done for real...
anything like this done now or in the past ?

(Olli's drawing, secret dream of a ignorant mechanic...)

edit : Olli's coach built, kustom coupé and cabrio are SO incredible... Who's able to build them for real !?! Very Happy

I'm a little monomaniac...
so I want to know more about what haunts my nights : 2CV convertible.
I almost looked at all the topics of this forum, and I found very few infos about it.
It seems that -except vintage racing cars- not so much 2CVs were customized like this.

Found a nice shot of one of those rides
Cool pictures... > page2 > Egletons b&w pic

Any technical infos or experience about converting a nice 2CV in a supa cool hair dryer?
Somebody here ever tried ?

Welcome Pablo,

I guess you mean this picture:

Nice car from a distance, but a little cheap and bad finished. I think the chassis was shortened (don't remember well), but that's something I wouldn't do. Keeping the original length of the car makes it look very long and classy, like the coupe made by Olli or this gorgeous Mercury!

thanks Sam.

of course, the mercury is incredible and Olli's drawing "coach built custom" is an great evocation of was and is done in the US...
Although construction of a convertible is easier than a coupe or a coach, principaly because there is less body work to do, I perfectly know that it must be quite hard to do...
But what disapoint me most is that you 2CV enthousiasts dont know a successful realisation...
