Is it possible to fit aluminium AMI Super Spring Pot Dampers on 2cv Chassis with 2cv pots ?

Hi Joseph,
I suppose you mean the rubber between the spring can and the chassis, as far as I'm aware ami super ones have a bigger diameter. I have a 2cv one here the inner diameter of the hole is 27 to 28 mm.

I tried this one some time ago...didn't work, the AMI Super Spring Pot Dampers (witch are no dampers anymore by the way, they are solid! Laughing) are too big in diameter to fit inside the holes at the ends of the 2CV pots.
I guess you may try to enlarge those holes (no sexual insinuation there, I wouldn't do that! Cool ), but didn't went that far. Maybe someone has a clue to this?

have some turned by a guy with a Lathe so that they fit the 2cv chassis...
