The ace is not far. I've never been but my mate Richard has so he knows the way.
My Uncle Alan used to be one of the Coffee House Cowboys in the fifties, as they used to be known. He would spend all week repairing Lambretta scooters, in one of the first dealers in London to sell them. Then at the weekend, he and his mates would all chip in and go and get a 'weekends' worth of insurance for their straight eight Caddy from what he used to call 'THE JEW BOYS'. Apparently they would insure anything for as long as you wanted and anyone to drive just as long as you had the money to pay. When he was'nt out in the Caddy then he was racing around the North Circular on his BSA GOLD STAR.
I've seen the photo's of him back then and it was like a different world. Cool

I made some pics at the "Hot Rod and Art Show" in Weil-Am-Rhein, last summer (and so these ones of this Chevy). Some of these pics shall be published in PWG but I still don't know when. Maybe next one...

Number one is screaming for a soft fifties blue body and black wheels. Perfection, although I'm not a fan of the louvered roof. Nice work!

Yes it looks like it but more like the first version of it (with less top chop).

I like more the B, but this A rocks:
