Amazing car, like it a LOT!!! this is (in my humble opinion) the best looking kit out there!

just one thing... with a non original frame it will never be possible to get one approved outside the UK..... unless the following is done:

buy a LHD donor, ship it to England, register it, convert it, get it approved, and ship it back to the main land to register it there..... a lot (to much) effort for most interested people over here.

same thing with the flyer (also kit in development I beleive) this procedure is done for the more high-end kitcars like cobra replica's, but for those its only a small part of purchase price. and like all 2cv druvers, it has to be and stay cheap...

as soon as you've got a LHD version, I'd be very interested (despite all the work and effort :) )

greetzzzzzzzzzz

Hi Josh.

I have to agree with the others; that is one super looking kit. I know it's not a kit yet but it should be. It's by far the best looking 2CV conversion I've ever seen. It really does nicely evoke Mille Miglia era cars. The dash is the only area I think I dislike but its very simplicity lends itself very well to personal alteration. Also, could you perhaps incorporate the air cleaner hole and the alternator buge into a single, wider bulge, rather like the bonnet bulge on a Lister Knobbly?

A very, very good recreation without trying to be a copy of any specific car. I wish you all the best if you do decide to market it as a kit and I might be interested myself. The body on my '84 Special is starting to look very shabby!

Brooky.

we are working with the samio company but this shell is unique to the 2cv kit, it is not the same as the Herald body shell kit.

samio make the shell for us and we build the space frame and sell the kit.

the structure bolts on to the orignal chassis, the same as a Burton and lomax.

the complete kit will retail at £2495 which includes the body and space frame.

Wood this also fit on an Ami Super Chassis?
A 4 cylinder boxer would give more engine to this fast looking car.

Cheers
