But what should I say : my cars are 6 feet under me

Well Ducks, as we say in french, we have to take our fingers off...
For that purpose, I propose to meet us for a BBQ, where ever you want, but ASAP ! Winter is coming soon whit its long evenings, we have to find something to do during those next 6 months !

No excuse, reality!
And when I say planning, the engine is ready (thanks Brother Yvan), The rear axle and the gear-box are in my basement for brakes rebuild, and the master of the body on its way...
But for a BBQ, there is one this sunday at home,
next week is free,
next week meeting in Belgium with Woody club,
then next week, the "Route of the Nougat" (Cruising down the national road 7 from Paris to Montelimard and back with AMI Club de France)
And this gring us to last week-end of september!

Well stop going to Gay parties at the weekend and start doing some serious work in the garage
it usually get cars on the road when you spend time on them
