At First I am Jan Willem and I am 18 years old.
I live one my one in Leeuwarden in Holland and in the weekends I am whit my parents in Diever also in Holland.
I’m studying “industrial design”
And now I’m a trainee at a Blacksmith's forge.
This is my moped apparently cold “ Mr. horse power ”
I found I out when I was sanding the frame.
Because in the layers of paint was written Mr. horsepower.
So I named my 2cv ak 350 my Mrs. Horsepower.

Hello , I like your TOMOS moped. It is as we call it TOMOS APN 4 made in mid seventies in Koper factory in Slovenia. But I believe that this one was produced in Nederland Tomos factory.
I also like your AK350. Is it still original under the body? This was made on AMI6 base in that time. I had one years ago. On my opinion best 2cv fourgonette ever made.
What will you do with it? |

ow oke cool in Holland the name was 4l but most people cold it 4tl why I don’t have a clou.
350 yes the coolest, looks cool and you can sleep in it
I going for a little bit of a hood ride style.
leave the bumper rusty as it is, same whit the headlights and the very cool round mirrors.
and fitting a cool steal h-van rearview mirror also rusty.
Also a radiator cap of a h-van as gasoline cap.
Just the little tings.
And of Corse lower it a bit and a visa.
And for the inside, seats probably made from an old Fire hose if its not to thick.
My gearlever and handbrake I’m going to forge because in a blacksmiths student, Later I have some drawing of it.
Door panels of old wooden shipping boxes whit those ponst texts on it like “this side up” and “fragile” on it.
Gsa rims whit the holes
so that are some ideas for it
did you had an tomos that you know that stuf? |

Umm,
have you checked whether the RDW in NL will accept these chassis
without any problems?
This message appeared on the 2CVGB forum recently...
"Dear Colleague 2CV Enthousiast,
In August 2009 I bought a lovely 2cv in the UK from a member
of your Deux Chevaux Club.
I drove it from Chester North Wales via Bath and Ramsgate ferry
to Holland without any problems !
Last week I went to the Dutch RDW ( = your DVLA )
in order to register it over here.
Unfortunately the inspector noticed that the galvanised chassis
is not a genuine Citroen make.
He only agrees to register it when he gets a confirmation from
Citroen or DVLA that in the UK it is permitted to renew a 2cv chassis
not necessarely being a genuine Citroen product.
I would be very pleased if you could help me to solve this problem."
It was for this reason that I stopped exporting chassis to NL some
years ago, although I still sell them in the UK, USA, Canada, Sweden,
Norway, Australia, New Zealand etc., etc.

ow oke.
but whit almost every galvanized chassis the are gone whine and if you paint it black what also looks better, the don't even notes it.
because when they see the galvanize the bell is gone ring and the start checking it.
A friend of mine also has a galvanize not RDW chassis paintet it black and nobody notest it, and she got it true the RDW
But thanks for the heads up.
I hope ill get it true the RDW.
but your the guy that makes them? or sels them |
