To drive it! I took it to the Czech rally this year and went through holland, germany ,austria, italy and france ,using it as a quite small camper van over 2 weeks. Cool
I have slightly lowered the front but have not done the back yet , i did lower the front quite a bit as it goes (as far as i could without the banana cut and weld job) but i smacked something rather hard on a speed hump in town Shocked (loads around here) while posing so i raised it back up a couple of inches for now when i got home Laughing

I suppose really i appreciate that this is a total custom forum but it is interesting to me because i was well pleased to see a scene around doing cool things with 2cv in a similar vane to the vw world, and that my van isnt going to interest the most ardent custom snailer type as it is. But i thought fuck it, its already a bit different when i got it with its unusual colour and its military fittings inside (a small lamp from a ww2 aircraft in the cab and two lamps from a vulcan bomber in the cargo bay plus the carbon fibre and light wood storage thingy that supports the bed and the seats that pull apart and fold flat).
The intention is to get it lower ,probably not scraping enough to satisfy a hardcore snailer for practical reasons though.
So far i have had welding work on the rear valence and inner box section, painted the wheels ,lowered it a bit and fitted a 123 then drove it to czech.

Hi

Nice van

As you say, it's quite standard, but it has nice detailing that makes it stand out.

Regarding lowering and praticality

I guess you have see my AMI6, it is fitted with hard springs and shocks, and has the front axle modified.

It is of course channeled, but the chassis hits nowhere at all, so I guess practicality is at it's max.

You could lower yours quite a bit if fitting hard springs and shocks, without hindering practicality

Wink
